FREE MATH LESSON - “Multiplication Equal Groups | Groups of | FREE Task Cards |”

Looking for a fun and concrete way to introduce multiplication. Our equal "Groups of" froggy themed task cards are a great way to help kids understand the concept of groups and early multiplication. They are also super low prep, hands on and best of all...FREE! Students identify the number of groups of frogs and the number of frogs in each group.

What does the product include?

• 36 "groups of" task cards with space for kids to record (write and wipe) the number of groups and frogs per group
• 20 of the cards are numbered (top left corner) for a Math Write the Room Activity
• Math Write the Room worksheet for kids to record their answers

How do I use this product?

• Math Center - Task cards can be placed in a math center with a dry wipe pen and students work through the cards, recording the answers directly onto the card or on a whiteboard
• Whole class or small group reading tool – The teacher can hold up the frog cards as a visual aid and draw circles around the groups and the number of frogs per group to teach this skill
• Write the room activity – teachers can post the question cards around the classroom and children then have to search for the cards and answer the numbered· questions on a corresponding sheet. This is a great way for teachers to assess students understanding

Instructions for Using Creative Writing Prompt Cards:

Once you download the pdf, I recommend printing them on sheets of card stock and cutting them. You can use the crop marks as guides for your paper cutter. Next, laminate the cards. Finally, place them in a basket and allow your students to pull a prompt out of the basket each time you have creative writing time.

Product Format:

Each prompt card is 4x3 in, and there are four cards on each 8.5 x 11 pdf.
