FREE MISC. LESSON - “What Does It Mean To Own Something?”

This is a social story that was used when children starting taking things that others had brought for sharing. I used it for the whole class rather than for the one child who was taking the items. It was the springboard for a discussion about respecting the property of others as well. Enjoy.

La manera en la que se presenta el contenido ayuda a aprender nuevo vocabulario y también es una buena herramienta para reforzar los sonidos y la fonología de esta lengua.

Se presenta en blanco y negro para que pueda ser fotocopiado a los niños y que sean ellos mismos los que pinten cada dibujo una vez han leído correctamente la palabra.

Después de la lectura pueden hacer frases y actividades de escritura para reforzar lo trabajado. Es adecuado para reforzar también las sílabas y la ortografía del español.

FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON - “Secret Sentences: Earth Day Writing Center Activity”

Little detectives will use their literacy skills to decode, write, and match sentences to their picture. Utilize phonics skills, identify sight words, and look for picture clues to solve these puzzles. The sentences are written in a beginning sound code. To play a matching game, students will use the clues to match each sentence card to a photograph card. You have the option to use a recording page and ask students to write each sentence as well!
