This is a sample from a larger product Caterpillar and Butterfly Math Science Literacy Centers.
This math center freebie is for estimating measurements. After students have measured a variety of smaller objects in the classroom, this activity allows them to estimate then measure the length of a set of cards. This activity is designed to help students develop an "eye" for measurement, and I have found it to be an effective activity. It keeps the students engaged and they are allowed to move about the room in the process.
Both inches and centimeters are included as well as color cards and black and white.
