OBJECTIVES:
Galatians and James are closely related,
but most people don't know why. This activity tells you why!
INSTRUCTIONS:
Before class, hang up a big sheet of butcher paper (make sure it's thick and/or the wall is protected from bleeding). Draw four blocks like this on the paper and make sure they are about the same size.
Before your lesson, give one student a pencil, one student a regular pen, one student a crayon, and one student a Sharpie permanent marker.
After the lesson, tell them to run up and write their name on the butcher paper at the same time (and the same size!). "3--2--1--go!"
Now have them stand at the back of the classroom and look at their names. Say: "Which one shows up more than the others?"
Read, rephrase, or memorize the lesson on the next page.
