This Guided Reading lesson plan is for your kids who are fluent readers (levels O-Z).I have included directions that will tell what to do with your reading group before reading, during reading, and after reading. There is an editable lesson plan template with step-by-step directions on what to do for your fluent readers. There is also a genre and author's purpose sentence starter that you can use. I have also included a sample reader's response.
This lesson plan can be used in your small reading group with any book, passage, or poem for your upper elementary students.
