Fractions, Mental Math, St. Patrick's Day

This math handout provides students practice in identifying fractional parts in lowest terms as well as recognizing equivalent fractions. In each riddle set, specific words are given.  The students are instructed to figure out the correct fractional part of each particular word.  If each fractional part is correctly identified, when the students write the letters on the lines provided, a new word is created.  Each set of new words becomes a message about the month of March and/or St. Patrick’s Day.
