FREE MISC. LESSON - “FLASH FREEBIE- STOMP Interactive Video Brain Break”

by The Primary Techie
Kindergarten - 6th Grade

Sometimes kids just need to get up and MOVE! Sometimes they need a couple minutes of FUN! This resource has been designed just for that! This is inspired by the old "Simon" game. A button lights up and that is the spot that you hit. The pattern grows longer and longer as the game goes on. There are two ways to play STOMP. 1) Laminate the printable mats included. My students keep their mats in their Big Brain Binders so they are ready to go all year. Turn on the video and students will follow along by slapping their mats. 2) The class stands up and each student pretends they are in the center of a STOMP game. They hop in the direction of the lighted buttons. This is nice because there is nothing to prep and it gets them moving.
