FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON - “Common Core Text Based Rubric Questions Graphic Organizer”

by James Whitaker
3rd - 8th Grade

This is a Common Core based graphic organizer for answering 2-to-3 point, text-based rubric questions. The graphic organizer allows students a place to record the relevant text based details needed for ensuring maximum credit for rubric based questions. This organizer is a prewriting tool for answering rubric based short response questions as well as an answer response template. First, use the graphic organizer to collect key details and textual evidence from any given reading passage, article, or work of literature. Then incorporate the relevant textual evidence into the answer to help support conclusions.
