FREE MATH LESSON - “Eggs in a Nest Subtraction Craftivity”

by KinderKay
Kindergarten - 1st Grade

This is a super easy activity to prepare and differentiate!
The teacher decides which number to be decomposed and that is how many eggs the students make. After creating the eggs, nest, and a branch, students decide how many eggs hatched and how many eggs have not hatched. This is written in a number sentence on the printable included. Students love doing this activity and do not even realize that they are learning! Patterns for the eggs and the printable for the number sentence is included.

CCSS
I can add and subtract numbers within 10.
