This free readers’ theater activity - Aesop's The Ant and the Grasshopper WHOLE CLASS script - will keep your grades 3-5 students together for community building fable fun lessons, rather than splitting off into small groups. Each student has approximately the same number of words and speaks individually twice. The most exciting feature of the script is the EVERYONE responses, where the whole class responds or performs an action together. Perfect for Drama performances too! If you have a class that dislikes anything they perceive as "babyish", this amusing script will get a thumbs-up.
What is included?
The 4 page script is followed by written questions, including a creative writing question with coloring borders. A full coloring page completes the fun!
