Days of the week are a staple in many preschool circle times and other morning meetings for older special education activities. These free days of the week response cards are a great addition to any morning group activity to get every student responding, engaged and practicing identifying which day it is.
Multiple Use Resource
Students can:
- put a clothespin on the day when the teacher asks the class to identify yesterday, today and tomorrow. Each time the teacher scans the group and can see who has the right answer and who needs more help
- the teacher can ask when a special activity is going to occur and students can answer with their response cards
- Students can point on their response cards to the right answer
- or cut the cards apart and have them sequence the days of the week during morning meeting or during other activities like independent work
- Use them as flashcards to practice days of the week
