Multiplying multiples of 10, logic, mystery, and fun, all in one FREE resource!
With this engaging activity, students start with a mystery story. They will then work their way through 5 pages of math problems to discover clues. They use the clues and the story to logically figure out the solution to the mystery!
- Clue 1 - Multiply by multiples of 10
- Clue 2 - Multiply by multiples of 100
- Clue 3 - Find the missing number (multiples of 10)
- Clue 4 - Find the missing number (multiples of 100)
- Clue 5 - Mixed practice
This activity can be used for an entire week (one clue page per day) or used in a small group, where each student completes one clue and the students work together to solve the mystery. This works especially well if you are needing to differentiate based on your students' needs.
