4th - 9th Grade
Characters in Love Graphic Organizer. A free graphic organizer for almost any novel with love as the theme. Students identify the characters, what or who they love, and explain how the know it from an example in the book. I used this for the book Where the Red Fern Grows. Students identified that Billy loved dogs and hunting, the dogs loved Billy, and Billy's family loved him. However, it can be used with almost any novel where there is a love connection between characters. Common core standards based, where students must analyze characters and support their opinions with examples from the text. Can be a fun Valentine's Day activity as well.
