This is a FREEBIE SAMPLE of one of the Color by Code activities that is included in my OCTOBER Activities for the 50 CHART Grade 1 !
This description is of the complete product: These can be used for practice, review, morning work, in math centers, in small groups, whole class, and assigned as homework. Number 50 charts are included to use as reference from 1 to 50, blank ones to fill in all the numbers, some to fill in the missing numbers, some to color by code while following directions, as well as some to be used as the base for building puzzles after cutting and pasting the pieces. The puzzles work well as "self check" activities when the student cuts and pastes the pieces on the chart.
I provide lots of practice with missing numbers, before, between, after, +1, -1, +10, and -10, and ODD and EVEN. There are also 3 different mystery pictures to be solved by coloring and following the directions of the color by code in this set. Two of the mystery pictures will be pasted on the provided chart in order to reveal a bigger mystery picture, and I call this a challenge activity! I have included a visual step by step poster to help with the challenge activity.
