Do your students love the feel of the hunt in write the room activities? This low prep rhythm activity is great for your music class and can be used as independent work or group work. This product includes varying levels to mix match for different grade levels.
Possible Suggestions:
1. Have students find just the notation symbols and write those down (suitable for 2nd grade & up)
2. Have students find just the notation syllables and write those down (suitable for 2nd grade & up)
3. Have students find either notation symbols or syllables (or a combination of the two!) and have them write down what the correct symbol or syllable would be. Ex: if they find the notation symbols then they must write down the notation syllables (suitable for 3rd & up)
