This free butterfly life cycle Boom Card sample deck is perfect for reviewing or assessing students' knowledge of the stages of a butterfly. The bonus printable word wall cards, poster, and puzzles are helpful teaching aids or supplemental materials.
They contain real, full-color photographs so students can make the connection to the real world.
Interactive, Self-Checking Boom Cards
The first 4 cards are learning cards that have brief text AND audio explanations as well as photographs of the 4 stages of the butterfly life cycle. Students can click on the audio icons to listen to brief explanations of each stage or read the text on their own.
The remaining cards are interactive cards that test students' knowledge of the stages in the butterfly life cycle. Students get to:
- label the stages of the life cycle
- put together puzzles that reinforce the vocabulary (match word to picture)
The cards are self-checking with audio directions.

- an interactive life cycle card where students move the life cycle photos to the correct places in the life cycle
- 10 multiple-choice comprehension questions that have both text and photo answer choices making it easy for students to work independently and easy for you to assess their knowledge of the butterfly life cycle.
