Are your students struggling with letter formation or writing sentences? These themed scrambled sentences are great practice for reading and can help students to understand basic sentence structure. Great for writing centers, special education, small groups, and occupational therapy handwriting activities.
Use this sorting, cut & paste sentence writing resource to have them practice building and writing sentences. They can work on handwriting by practicing correct letter formation, baseline adherence, and spacing between words. Teach them how to match their work to the sample and edit for reversals or other errors.
This is a free sample of my writing resources that contain scrambled sentence cards and no prep, cut and paste sentence building worksheets one for each season. Use these sentence cards, with coordinating pictures, for students to build a sentence then read, write and/or type the sentences. I use these with my special education students who need to work on handwriting and/or keyboarding from a model.
OT Tip: Make writing fun so it doesn't seem like work. Your students can work on fine motor and visual perceptual skills while they practice handwriting with these fun and engaging activities.

Directions: Copy, cut out and laminate cards for multiple use. Have students sort the cards by picture then put them in order to read, write and/or type the sentences. You can use a full copy of the page for students who may need a model to make the sentences. Print the no prep worksheets for students.
