Kindergarten - 5th Grade
If you have ever have had the pleasure to use paint with second graders, you know how quickly all of the paint can become mixed together forming a lovely shade of ... brown.
An art lesson that I do with my class requires the creation of a color wheel. After failing tremendously, I decided to create a little guide!
This is an easy print out. You simply print out the copy, make copies, and place them underneath of a clear plastic plate. The children can see the guide underneath. I have even given a reminder about starting with the primary colors as well as how to start with lighter colors when making secondary colors.
This is a simply sheet, and a simple idea, but will make your art lesson more successful!
