Add these cards to your CAFE board as you introduce each reading strategy to your class. Set goals for individuals and reading groups by placing names or photo cards under each category. Track your teaching of reading skills and strategies by only introducing each strategy card when you have taught it to your class.
Updated 2024: with editable slides for each strategy (add your wording for a strategy) and SOR Accuracy cards. I have also included the heading posters in this file, as well as kept each strategy one color. I hope you enjoy the update.
