Product Description: SCAMPER Ice Cream Sundae
Looking for a fun creative thinking or problem solving activity? Are your students ready to party but you are trying to get them to work? Then try this challenging, engaging creativity thinking and problem solving activity using the SCAMPER technique. In "SCAMPER an Ice Cream Sundae" 3rd- 8th grade students stretch their creative thinking brains as they apply the SCAMPER technique to create a new ice cream sundae recipe. They won't mind the hard work, (1 or 2 45 minute classes) because the payoff is a delicious ice cream sundae to eat.
Teachers if you have never used SCAMPER, don't despair. In the prior knowledge section SCAMPER information is proved. Specific suggestions on how SCAMPER can be used in this activity are also given. Additionally links to websites containing information about SCAMPER are included.
Jump in, give it a try. You'll be amazed at how creative your students become when they SCAMPER.
