FREE SOCIAL STUDIES LESSON - “Progressive Amendment Worksheet: 16th, 17th, 18th, & 19th Amendments Chart”

by Social Studies with Ms Mc
8th - 12th Grade

Students will research the 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th Amendments and complete a chart.

Students will learn:

  • the content of the 16th-19th Amendments
  • WHY these amendments were ratified (What problem did they solve?)

They'll secure their understanding by drawing or inserting an image that symbolizes each amendment.

There are 2 summarizing questions, as well! This is a great research OR review activity. Use this worksheet during your unit on the Progressive Era to reinforce ideas about the massive political and social change taking place in America during the early 1900s.
