This is a sample booklet of 10 math word problems solving simple problems for numbers up to 10. Voici un échantillon de problèmes de mathématiques à résoudre. Les problèmes sont simples et utilisent les chiffres de un à dix.
Each problem has a space for a student drawing, if the student would find that useful. Students do not necessarily need to complete a drawing if they can accurately solve the problem without one. However, students must write the equation and the concluding sentence in the space provided.
Chaque problème inclus un espace pour l’élève à dessiner s’il ça peut l’aider. L’élève n’a pas forcément besoin de faire le dessin s’il peut résoudre le problème correctement. Par compte l’élève devrait écrire la phrase mathématique et la phrase de conclusion dans les lignes fournies.
This resource is provided in 2 versions, a PDF and a PowerPoint. In the PowerPoint version teachers can change the names in the problems to those of their students. In general students love to see their actual names in the problems and this helps with motivation. However, depending on what version of PowerPoint you have, the formatting of the layout of the problems may be changed, which could make them difficult to use. On the other hand, in the PDF version the formatting is guaranteed, and the problems will be easy to use – just print and hand out or make booklets. However, teachers will not be able to edit or change the problems in any way.
Cette ressource est préparée en deux versions, le PDF et le PowerPoint. Avec le PowerPoint il est possible de modifier le document afin de changer les noms dans les problèmes aux noms de vos élèves. Les enfants adorent voir leur nom dans les problèmes et ça les encourage à bien travailler. Par compte la version PowerPoint s’ouvre différemment selon le logiciel sur votre ordinateur alors le formatage du texte n’est pas garanti et pourrait rendre le texte difficile à utiliser. La version PDF n’est pas modifiable mais le formatage est garanti et l’enseignant(e) n’a qu’à imprimer le document et le travail est prêt à donner aux élèves. C’est à chaque enseignant(e) de décider la version préférable.
