Directions: Cooperatively in pairs, use one set of ten pennies and ten frame board. First player puts the pennies in his hands behind his back, put some in one hand the rest in the other. Put the pennies from one hand on the ten frame, then, without showing the content of the other hand, ask partner how many he thinks there are. Count the pennies as they are added to the ten frame board to complete ten. Make/Write that addition sentence, or the fact family on the record sheet. This is great practice for facts of ten during math centers.
