FREE MATH LESSON - “3rd Grade Math Spiral Review | Distance Learning | Free Sample”

Daily spiral math review is a perfect way to help your students stay sharp in math. I developed this resource out of a need for a good spiral math review. I was scouring the internet for good spiral sheets, but was always spending so much time searching! Now, I've created this resource to put the endless internet searches to an end.

This resource will be part of a growing bundle to include 36 weeks of daily spiral math review.

Since its a free sample of the first 3 weeks in the second trimester (weeks 13-15).

Currently, this resource includes:

Free 3 week sample of daily spiral math review sheets
Free 3 week sample of weekly spiral math quizzes
Student data tracking sheet
Student graphs so they can track their quiz progress
Free 3 week sample the beginning of 3rd-grade math
Includes a digital Google Form version, perfect for distance learning.
Pacing guide
This can be used as daily homework, morning work, do now, sub work, etc.
Give weekly quizzes to hold students accountable for their progress and learning.

This resource is great because...

If used as homework/morning Work, it's more predictable & not overwhelming.
The quizzes quickly assess students each week without taking up too much time or being overwhelming.
Students are exposed to multiple standards every day, keeping their skills sharp.
Each week introduces a new standard while still reviewing.
The quiz data helps identify skills that need to be retaught.
Parents appreciate the consistency of the homework (if using as homework).
Teachers can easily see where students are still struggling on a regular basis.
Teachers find students need almost NO test-prep before standardized testing when using this resource all year.

FREE MISC. LESSON - “FREE Reteach Session Sign-in Sheet for Middle School”

A free and editable form for middle school reteach attendance. If you are having to set up a class period for reteaching students the skills they need to master, this free form will help you with that. As you are going through your remediation list, type in student names of who needs to come to your reteach session in the first column. Read the list to your class and post it on your classroom door with the date and time they need to attend.

When it is time for them to come into the room for class, use the form as a sign-in sheet. Students can sign by their name and now you not only have attendance complete, but you have documentation for your files of who attended reteach.

In the last column, you can put comments. Perhaps they left early or couldn’t come due to illness. You can also put here what standards they worked on, or if additional remediation is needed. You can add more rows, if necessary, but hopefully you won’t have more that 25 students in remediation class!

I hope this is helpful for you and saves you a little bit of time.

FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON - “Daily Five Binders”

A set of binder dividers, activities and forms to keep your kids accountable during their Reader's Workshop time! I found that while I love the Daily 5, often I had just a few slipping through the cracks in terms of completing really authentic reading activities. My team worked together to come up with a binder system to keep kids accountable for their work, which we check once a week or during reading conferences.

This .pdf contains:

- Two choices of binder covers
- One divider label for each of the Daily 5 centers - read to self, read to someone, work on writing, listen to reading, word work
- Activity logs for the following centers - read to self, read to someone, word work
- Leveled reading response sheets (summary and choice board) for work on writing
- Listen to Reading log and rating chart

FREE MATH LESSON - “Fractions Game Boom Cards Distance Learning Free”

~ This fractions resource for grade 2 and grade 3 is a DIGITAL GAME with a fun Sun Theme. It needs to be played on a DIGITAL DEVICE. It will help children to review HALVES, THIRDS, and FOURTHS.

This game can be played on interactive whiteboards, computers, and tablets. Boom Cards apps are also available. An INTERNET CONNECTION is REQUIRED.

This set has 9 cards. Each card has a picture of a fraction model. Students identify the fraction. Then they click on the correct fraction name from 3 options.

This activity, which includes 9 cards, can be played over and over again and the cards will be shuffled each time! This resource is digital, interactive, paperless, no prep, and self-checking. Each card indicates whether the answer is correct or not. The game is fun and easy to use.

Please note that this activity is HOSTED on the BOOM Learning Site and NOT on TpT. When you download this digital resource, you will be provided with a pdf which takes you to the full version of the game on BOOM Learning! If you do not already have an account with Boom Learning, they will open a FREE account for you. You will need to provide a user name and valid email.

FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON - “Class Pattern Book - The Band-Aid Book”

Looking for a class book to make? You have come to the right place! The Band-Aid Book is an exciting way to get students writing, reading, and learning about various body parts. Students complete the sentence: "There is a band-aid on my ________." and fill in a body part (arm, leg, chin, nose, ear, etc.). They then can place a real band-aid on their drawing. The kids love it!

This packet includes:
