FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON - “Homophone Puzzles Freebie”

Freebie! These homophone puzzles are a fun way to review and practice homophones. They are also great for English language learners to notice pronunciation. Students work in pairs or in small groups to answer the clues to reveal the four homophone pairs, and then unscramble the circled letters to reveal a fifth pair of homophones. Students then work together to write their own clues to the fifth pair for another student or group to solve. Six different puzzles in total, two of which are slightly more challenging.
