2nd - 5th Grade
This is an arts integrated lesson that teaches adjectives using pairings by various famous artists. The lesson focuses on finding as many adjectives as possible to describe a piece of art. After the class has listed adjectives for several pieces of art, the students are to choose their favorite painting and write about it using their adjective list. They can write several sentences or a story to describe what is occurring in the painting. This file contains several interactive activities for the class to complete.
