FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON - “Al Capone Does My Shirts Game”

by Wise Guys
3rd - 6th Grade

This is a two page game board made specifically for the novel Al Capone Does My Shirts by Gennifer Choldenko. As a teacher, all you really need is some dice and little game pieces that can easily be made from a pencil eraser, paper, etc. Before the game begins, students (or you) will need to cut out the game cards that are included. It is best if the game is copied on cardstock but regular paper works fine too. Students enjoy this fun reading activity. Teachers will love how the students are having a great time while reviewing the story!
