Kindergarten - 12th Grade
This Moon Phases Poem is a great way to introduce the phases of the moon to all grades (K-12)! I wrote it when teaching about the phases as a fun way for the students to remember the moon phase information. The poem is part of my Moon Phase packet which is developmentally appropriate for grades K-5 however it may meet the needs of upper grades as a foundational start or review of an astronomy unit. The packet contains many ways to teach about the phases along with Tier 1-3 vocabulary, worksheets and assessments.
