Free Literacy Activities for your classroom and at home!
5 Minute Literacy is a way to get your parents involved in early literacy at home. While you can use all of these activities in the classroom for centers and group learning I have designed this unit to make a short send home activity easy! There are 22/ 5 minute literacy cards that just simply go home, each card has a simple activity that only needs a book to be completed. The 32 letter hunts are great for visual discrimination practice and can help parents see what their child truly understands when it comes to their letters. There are also 9 baggie centers with everything necessary except the baggies! You will not need to add any supplies to this unit, each baggie center has its own set of graphics, letter cards and word cards. A reading log and recording sheets are included.
