To meet The Next Generation Standard k-2ETS1-1, we learn about the Scientific Method and how to ask questions. We start off with a mentos in Coke experiment. Then, students come up with their own question about Mentos and Coke - ex. Will a hot Mentos make a Coke shoot higher out of the bottle than a cold Mentos? Will fruit Mentos make Coke shoot higher than regular Mentos? They map out their experiment using this outline. Hope you are able to use it with your kids too!
