This CVCe (consonant-vowel-consonant-e) / "Magic e" phonics reader will help your children to practice long a "Magic e" words in context.

I've included three versions of each book in this set:

• Full-sized, full-color (great for printing or projecting)
• Full-sized, black-and-white
• One page easy fold mini-books

Each story is followed by five types of activities:

• Phonics practice (focusing on word types)
• Fluency practice (Students read stories three times each and graph their progress.)
• Sentence building (Students unscramble sentences, rewrite them, illustrate them, and use a rubric to check their work.)
• Comprehension: multiple choice questions
• Comprehension: short answer questions
