These coupon books are a wonderful way to celebrate the holidays, fill those antsy hours before vacation, emphasize the importance of giving, and honor students’ loved ones all at the same time!
Included:
-Color Page 1: Cover page with 3 coupons
-Color Page 2: 4 coupons
-Black and White Page 1: Cover page with 3 coupons
-Black and White Page 2: 4 coupons
Students will choose an important person who they want to give a gift to. They will then create a book of coupons to give to that person. Cut apart the coupons and stack them with the cover on top. Staple along the left-side tab.
The great thing about this activity is that it is meaningful and FREE - for both you and your students! These coupons will help students understand that thoughtful actions, from the heart, make the best gifts!
Ideas for coupons:
-do the dishes for 1 week
-back rub
-walk the dog
-one handmade art project
-breakfast in bed
-hugs
-movie night of your choice
The possibilities are endless - students will really start to think about what is important to the special people in their lives and what they could do to make them smile.
This could also make a wonderful gift from teachers TO students! Fill the coupons with special privileges like no homework, lunch with the teacher, pick your seat for the day, 10 minutes computer time, etc. Easy and free!
