The Fossil Fuel Formation Model lesson allows students to model fossil fuel formation and identify the model's limitations and advantages.
Procedure
Day 1: 15 Minutes
Set up the model and discuss what each part represents.
Day 2: 30 Minutes
Check the model and complete the Student Sheet.
Materials Per Team
• Paper plate
• 3 slices of bread (different types if possible)
• 6 Swedish Fish gummies
• Heavy book
• Paper towel
