Your students are back to school after a much-needed vacation and they are all excited to share how they spent it, so why not have them reflect on their experiences in apersonal narrative. This will not only give them the opportunity to get an introduction/refresher to the narrative writing genre, but would also enable them to capture some great memories on paper.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
✓ Pre-writing Organizer - students will brainstorm key events that occurred during their vacation. They will then choose one event to narrate.
✓ Elements of Plot Interactive Notebook template (Cover and Response Sheets) - students will organize their ideas of the key event chosen, in an interactive notebook template, featuring the elements of the plot.
